warm yellows
this week was about getting used to the new gym program. i changed it from 3 days to 4 and now i am more religious about the progressive overload. split by upper and lower body, more legs and back involved. getting the sleep in, eating enough protein, trying to balance it out with whole schedule. it's work. hoping that it sticks :fingers-crossed:
i kept looping this song the whole time and almost done with the poor artists but to be honest i dind't get the hype, i keep zooming out.
today went to the exhibition "marina abramović: balkan erotic epic". nothing - literally nothing - was exciting/inspiring/thougt provoking. 0 out of 10. mostly previous performances were presented to fill it up?! it was about how the themes like grief and death and politics connect with erotism in balkan region? nah.
i am going to london next week! first timer. and first timer solo trip! will be working from there for a week. pretty excited.
did 3 smol paintings this week only 1 worked. studing cyclinders, blending, color mixing all in one. this jam jar turned out to be cute. color mixing is hard. greens are hard. and it's not really straightforward to differentiate warm vs cold yellows once it's out of the tube, i keep labeling them. also for this jam, i kept mixing kadmium red and ultramarine blue with different configs like darken brighten add this and that, nothing worked for almost one straight hour. and then it was about alisarin crimson red and prussian blue. learning the hard way. also shadows needs to be worked they look pretty sloppy and wrong in value. but i like how it turned out.
